Some iPhones that are currently supported by iOS 16 will not be able to download Apple's iOS 17 software update, which was announced at this year's WWDC event.
Live voicemail, FaceTime video messages, offline map use, and other new features will arrive with iOS 17, which will be released in the fall.
Through Apple's public beta program, you can test out the new iOS early if your phone is compatible. Beginning in July, interested users will be able to download and use the iOS 17 beta.
The iPhones that will support iOS 17 as well as those that Apple will no longer support after iOS 16 are listed below. These include all of the best iPhones that are currently available. Keep in mind that many of the phones on the list are either no longer available from Apple or are brand-new.
